Character Writing...

On a spine chilling day, with a slight shower of snow freezing the creek and lake. The house was freezing up and the ground persisted on cracking and cracking. “Mum Mum” Yelled Aaron, “The grounds freezing up”. As Mum rushed into the room a piece of the hard spruce floor smashed open. “Mum are you OK” said Aaron!!! Blood gushed out of the wound she just got recently but Aaron still had to shut all of the windows and doors. He rushed around the house shutting door by door window by window. As he rushed to the last door he smashed into the wall. Aaron smacked straight through the wall onto the hard freezing ground...

As he started to open his eyes he thought he was a living corpse but he was really in the bushes eating leaves. Aaron touched the back of his head and he felt a big surprise. He felt that a whole chunk of his head was hanging out of his skull...Soon enough he started acting crazy. He started running around screaming, as he ran through the bush into the abandoned lake he tripped and smashed straight through the thick ice...He thought that he was having hypothermia but he was actually trapped under the thick ice. Aaron started screaming under the water but it sounded so weird. Aaron started punching the ice, the more the ice cracked the harder Aaron punched. Aaron could feel his lungs fill up with water and he just gave up...

Aaron opened his eyes and it all looked clear blue but he he saw one man dressed in a puffy jacket with a huge axe. The vision he could see was just the man swinging away at the thick ice. He divided into the water to get Aaron but Aaron was already drowning. The man swam back up with Aaron and Aaron was in a death state. The man started spring Aaron untill Aaron started coughing and waking up. Are you alright said the man. “What's your name” said Aaron, my names Steve. “Thank you so much” said Aaron. “Where do you live” said Steve. “Here I’ll take you”. “Here...This is where I live” said Aaron in shock. Aarons house was all frozen and his mother was not there.

“Where can she be...Where can she be” said Aaron in panic...”I think she's at the hospital because she got such a deep wound”, “Then what are you waiting for let's go” said Steve. As Aaron and Steve walk to the hospital they hitchhike to get there faster but a dodge black van pulls up and picks them up. “Where are you guys heading” “To the hospital” said Aaron in frightness. As they drive through the night they see gangs, fighting and violence. “Here you guys are”said the man. As Aaron and Steve hop out of the van he speeds away. “Why are we in the middle of the neighborhood” says Aaron. Come on let get out of here fastly. As the enter the enterance of the hospital they go to the desk and ask for Aarons mothers name. But she wasnt there...

Letter to the South Island

Dear Waiau, Kaikoura and South Island...

Sorry about the horrible tragedy you are going through. A 7.5 earthquake, in all honesty I wouldn’t handle a little shake. Sorry about your family members that have passed on from this world, I hope you can handle the sorrow and pain within your heart.

I’ve watched the news and it looks like you guys down there are fighting hard and surviving, I am proud of you people...Seeing all of the damages to the roads, railways, mountains, Buildings and reserves make me very anxious. Is the earthquake aftershocks coming to Auckland.

I felt some of the aftershock, the mirrors, plants and cups started to shake, and the weird thing was it started at 12.00 to 12.05.

Next week my group of friends are going to conduct a science experiment. We are going to test out which type of coke a cola will react to the mentos. The Cokes we are going to get are Coke life, Coke, Coke
( Diet ), Coke Zero and Pepsi. We are going to line up all of the Cokes on the bottom field and we are going to drop a whole pack of mentos in each bottle of Coke.  I Cant wait for this experiment...

Term 4...Week one...Monday, Pt England School. The smell of pancakes must of made the little and big students very warm and welcomed to be back to school. As Mr Burt and Mrs Nua ( Principal & Deputy Principal ) were positioned facing hundreds of students cooking in there mini kitchen. They were cooking pancakes for the students that were being quiet and good. They introduced Pt England's new topic. It was named “Ch . ch . ch . ch changes”. They named it that because Pt England School was studying about science and science involves changes. Team 1 of Pt England School was studying about the changes of foods, liquids and much much more.

The next Team which was Team 2 was studying about the balance ( Buoyancy ) of things that could have been thrown into water/sea like milk bottles, rocks, a human boy and heaps more. Plus how things change in cooking like eggs and meat as well. But for cold things like ice cubes and frozen veges if you leave them out for a while they will start do defrost...

Team 3 was studying about experiments and things you have to put into making an amazing experiment. They learnt a whole heap of there experiments for a youtuber named The Crazy Russian Hacker. There experiments were very cool because they had everything that little kids like, like explosions, eruptions and things that were very tempting to do.

Team 4 were studying about myths and seeing if those myths actually work or not. There first myth was if Mr Goodwin could survive without coffee in the morning. Of course Mr Goodwin couldn't survive without coffee so he started to throw a fit on the ground. Team 5 did a simular thing to Team 3.

They did something similar to science experiments but instead they did something more fun. The teachers of Team 5 put there bodys on the line of getting wet, sticky and cold. Mrs Tele’a got 4 water balloons popped on the top of her head. Miss Berry got 2 pepsi max’s squirted into her face and Miss Clark got two very cold ice cubes down her back. Plus a water balloon popped on the top of her head and Mrs Illoa and Mr Wiseman watched them suffer the pain.

My First Day Of The Holidays...

“HAPPY HOLIDAYS” yelled everyone as they scrambled out the large garage looking doors. I could see my Brother and Mother there in the breeze ( our school walk way ) talking endlessly to the friends but me on the other hand had to get my hoverboard ( Segway board ). As my brother and I had taken our hoverboards to the car we went to pakuranga plaza moments after for some delicious lunch. I got Burger King and my brother and mother got a Kebab with fries and Subway. As we made our way home on such a full stomach my Mum had a cool

idea of getting my brother and I’s hair dyed blonde.

My Mum said that Simon ( My Brother ) should get highlights through his hair. If you don't know what highlights are there black and blonde strips of hair through Simons head. When we got the dye we took it back home and my Mum grabed out of the box bleach, blonde hair cream and a set of gloves.

She started applying the dye to my head and it was creamy white. I kind of looked like shampoo, after she did that she said if it stung come back here and I’ll wash it out. That kind of made me anxious, moments later my hair was starting to turn blonde. As I hoped in the shower my hair started to ich at the back and at the front. As I was washing it I was so exsited to see what it’ll turn out to be. When I finished I looked in the mirror and started laughing because I havent ever seen myself with blonde hair. After that we had dinner at sal’s pizza and had a good nights rest.

Ebola vs The Black Death!!!

You may have heard about the Ebola & Black Death Viruses. This piece of writing you are about to read is about how these two diseases have in common. First fact, the Ebola virus has been around for quite sometime but guess what. The Ebola virus was found in World War 1, and the virus was made by all of the dead bodies that were piled up and up and up like mountains. The Black Plague ( Death ) on the other hand was made by little rats that had fleas on them. The rats snuck onto a ship heading for Europe and made everyone deadly ill or dead. As the entered the docks people were there to greet them and welcome them to there country but they never knew what they were in for.

As people started entering the ship they saw very sick people and dead bodies everywhere. As people were examining the bodies they spotted big black boils that oozed out pus and blood and the people that were still alive had to wait for her death. People still remembered the rumors of this illness but everyone doubted and doubted. Did you know that both of the diseases had a thing part of their side effect named deliriousness. Deliriousness means that you see things that aren't real of you become mental and crazy...Did you know that the Black Death killed most of Europe's population by 60%!!! Did you know that people dug holes so long down that it hit earth's water bed. When people die they grab their corpses and throw them down to the water bed and put dirt onto them. Kind of like a lasagna.

The Troubled Boy...

Boom, Boom, Boom, the sound of roaring guns and bombs exploding, you could hear the Talibans and Americans yelling for help in such stern voices. As Jack was looking out his window smoke was filling the air and making it hard to see. It was mostly nerve racking to Jack because his parents were at work making minimum wages. Jack was left all alone at home while war was happening. The Talibans were taking over neighborhoods one at a time and bad enough his neighborhood was one of them!!! Jack started panicking because they were smashing his door down, but as the Taliban's entered, Jack smashed the window and tried running away in his neighbor's car.

As he was driving cops and military were trying to stop this madness but it just got worse. Jack drove over to his Mum and Dad's work but bad enough there building was destroyed, but only Mum was outside. “Wheres Dad” Jack said with teary eyes and the look of depression on his face. He’s still in there, so Jack ran in and was looking for his Dad. He has never seen that much injured bodies in his life. “DAD...DAD” yelled Jack but all he could see was the taliban's take his Dad.

Jack jumped into the car and chased the Taliban van. Jack's Dad was looking through the window and was trying to smash it. Jack hit full gas and he smacked straight into the van. The Taliban's started firing their guns at the car. Jack turned the car and whacked the wheel. The van started flipping upside down and round and round. Jack's Dad tried to make an escape but the Taliban's tried shooting him. Jack opened up the trunk and found a small gun. “Come on Dad COME ON” Jack yelled!!! The Taliban was aiming his budget gun at Jack's Dad. But Jack fired a shot and scared the Taliban away. Come on Dad said Jack.

As they were driving back to the building, debris and gas was spraying everywhere. “Mum MUM” yelled Jack. Mum was drenched in gas. Get in Mum get in. All you could see was a match flying from the building, everything was like in slow motion. “Hurry up Mum HURRY UP” said Jack. Boom, everything caught on fire......Except Mum. Lets get out of here Dad said. So they took the next flight to America and Voted for Donald Trump.

My Cross Country Experience....

As I awoke feeling a combination of emotions, mainly fear and excitement. “Ohhh no, it’s Cross Country” I yelled with fear. As I walked down the hallway the smell of freshly cooked eggs punched my face. “Ohhh yum” I shockingly said. “Thanks Nana” I said. As I was running to school I could hear the barking of dogs. “Hey” Shaitarn said as I entered the school gates. “Where's Tihi” I said, “I don't know” said Shaitarn.

As Tihi and I were sitting down on the hard court people were drawing motivating things on their arms and legs so I thought it’ll be a great idea to draw on myself too. It was so hot as if someone threw us into a oven on 80 degrees to turn us into rubble. Years 1 & 2 please go to the starting line please. It looked as if they were terrified. On you marks, get set, GO!!! They all took off and the whole school was standing up watching...      

“Get out of the way” I said to Tihi in a stern voice, as I shoved my way to a better spot. “Stop hogging all of the space” I said. As the sun was burning us into rubble and I dug my feet deep into the wet dirt, my heart was racing with excitement and also nervousness. Mr Burt says the starting positions in a slightly stern voice. On your marks, get set, GO!!! I heard everyone's feet slip off the wet slippery mud. Everyone took off like a pack of wild wolfs. I hear everyone huffing and puffing and eventually some of them stop. Me and Tihi started fast walking.

“Oww Oww” I said as I was standing on the sharp sticks. It felt like my feet were bleeding. As I started my pace again Miss Lavakula was encouraging us to run. My feet sunk straight into the mud, it felt very nice, nicer than the sharp thorn like sticks. As me and Tihi ran past Mrs Squires she said some more motivating things. As Tihi and I entered the second lap we were highly exhausted. It felt as if my lungs were going to pop. I could hear the encouragement from all the little kids. As we entered the school gates and we were going to finish me and Mararoa had a bit of a sprint race. And guess what...I WON!!!

Now im starting to feel a little sad because that was the last EVER cross country I will do at Pt England...

As I entered my class room a sense of relif and pride hit me. Finally, im never doing that again...

Our Muscles

Did you know that you have more than 600 Muscles in your body. If you ask me thats heaps of Muscles. If you're a big body builder or a small baby you still have the same amount of Muscles in your body. Did you know that even when you relax your Muscles are still working. When you move your Muscle your brain sends a message to the particular part you want to move. Have you ever felt that pain in your Muscles after a long day of standing or Exercise. If you're wondering what that pain is called, its called Muscle Fatigue. Do you know the muscles you think are Muscles aren't the only ones.

Did you know that when you sit down or even talk you're using Muscles. Did you know that we have three main Muscles, the smooth Muscle the cardiac muscle and the skeletal muscle. Did you know that the smooth Muscle works even if you're not trying. The smooth Muscle works when you throw up. It pushes up the vomit and your stomach clenches. That's the Smooth muscle but the cardiac Muscle works without you even trying. It’s kind of like the smooth muscle but it has a different working...Did you know that our heart is a muscle, it is called the Myocardium. It is the most relaxed muscle in your body and it pumps blood throughout our body.

The Skeletal muscle is the one you flex with. It doesn't work unless you move or pick up something. The skeletal muscle is supported by another muscle called the flexor. The flexor is under the biceps and when you flex your muscle the flexor supports the biceps...For little kids they don't need to work out and lift waits to be healthy. They have to play outside and eat the right food...

How The Olympics Came To Be.....

The Olympic games started in Greece 776 BC. They started just with little games like the Two hundred meter dash, Shot put, Boxing and just little more. The Olympics were just about religion. They hailed Zeus as their God but it evolved overtime. In our days we don't run naked or hail anyone but there is still some sports we have in our days. But soon enough the Olympics have been closed by Pagan Cult, until it had been revived by Baron Pierre de Coubertin in 1886. When it had been revived there were no Gods or Rulers...

But in that time they did sacrifices to Zeus ( There God ) and they used to sacrifice so many things like Hundreds and Hundreds of Ox ( A Type Of Cow ) and much much more. They used to burn the Ox and the smoke will go in the air. It means that when it goes in the air it’s going to their God Zeus..   

The Youngest Athlete to compete in Olympic History was just 10 years old, his name was Dimitrios Loundras. He received a Bronze Medal in a team event. The Event he competed in was the Relay Race...The Events held in the games were Shot Put, Sprints, Boxing and more. But slowly over time the Events Evolved. In our days the sports we compete in is Sprinting, Shot Put, Discus, High Jump, Long Jump and Much Much More...

As you know or don't know the 2016 Olympic Games is being held in Rio De Janeiro. But sadly there is a virus in Brazil, It is called the Zika Virus. Many Athletes Backed down because it was a risk going to the Olympic Games. The Olympic Games is a BIG Tourist attraction. Brazil and many other countries that have held the Olympics recently have made heaps and heaps of money. How you may ask, well first of all you fly there and that would cost a fortune plus paying for the Olympics and that will cost another fortune. Most of that money would go to the government of Brazil and that's how they make heaps of money...   

I think the Olympics have changed over time for the following reasons...First off it's not good burning and sacrificing Gods creatures. Second, it's rude running naked and weird. So those are the reasons I think the Olympics have changed over time...
