Dear Gustav,

My name is Michael and I hope you feel a bit safe not being at war. I know how you feel but keep your head up high and keep moving on. Keep safe and warm. And hopefully you get a positive response not negative. It has been a BAD mistake that you have been in this position and I have feelings for you.

Its great that you are a family guard but it sucks that you are in Jail. Hopefully you get out of Jail and see your family again.

That's when they started to kick in the Tanks, Germany got angry and made an bullet proof Tank so the Germans thought they'll be OK but they weren't because Britain made Air Planes and Germany was in for an Disaster. It was sad that Millions and Millions of people because of those disasters things.

In 1914 men left their families. They were forced to fight and bound to protect their country. Many were killed and it all started when a boat hit New Zealand, more than 700 - 800 people went from New Zealand to Australia to collect more troops ! Younger men thought it would be a fun adventure, But they never knew they were entering hell !!! The New Zealanders and the Australians traveled to Samoa and started battle ling at Gallipoli.

Anzac Day Memorial

700 - 800 people from New Zealand went Gallipoli. Young and Old men dying haven't lived there life up to the fullest. And it all started when a BIG boat arrived at the viduck people saying good bye to their dads and their uncles. Tears coming down there faces and kids having panic attacks. There dads were bound to protect their countries and their families, There were many wounded and even some people coming off ships on stretchers.  Families were really sad and happy to see their Dad even when he came off with a missing body part. Some Dads and Uncles NEVER CAME BACK EVER!!  

Some kids never were the same any more because it's a really hard seeing their Dad with a broken mind. They could not sleep because there friends died or can’t stop thinking about death and gun shots. Its really sad when you never see your Dad / Uncle again because there were the ones that looked after you and loved you.
